From small family farms to larger operations, no two farms are exactly alike. Aside from the size of the farms themselves, each property has its own unique soil biology and challenges to contend with. Because of this, Richland Micro Drainage offers a tiered approach to our products and services to cater to all sizes of farms. Here’s what you should know.
Tier One: Small-Scale Farms
Our tier one services are for farms with less than 80 acres of drainage installation. In most cases, it’s not practical to buy your own equipment for a smaller farm like this. At this level of service, we connect you with local micro drainage concepts contractors who will provide customized drainage services based on your property’s needs.
Tier Two: Mid-Size Farms
Tier two service is designed for contractors and mid-size farmers to install their own drainage, up to one million feet per year. We provide training to better learn about the micro drainage concept, as well as access to yearly meetings where farmers and contractors share challenges and performance to learn together.
Tier Three: Large Farms and Contractors
Tier three services are for large farmers and drainage contractors. This level combines our Micro Drainage Concepts with AgReplan drainage services. You receive the necessary tools for implementing both surface and subsurface drainage solutions. As with our tier two service package, you will also participate in a yearly meeting with other farms and contractors to discuss micro drainage solutions and improvements.
With customized, tiered micro drainage solutions, Richland Micro Drainage can help you find the options that will be most effective for your farm — no matter how big it is. You’ll get the right level of support for your specific needs so you can optimize crop growth.
