Ditch Works

For ditch work, we need an RTK topography. By running your field with an ATV with a data collector (we could use lidar data but it's not as accurate), we create a water model. This determines your flow passes, elevation lines, and depression pockets.

Dirt Works

For designing a 3D surface, we partner with OptiSurface to create a cut and fill path by using a high-speed dirt pan. By reshaping the field we eliminate all the small depression pockets and create a positive grade all over the field by moving a very small amount of dirt across the whole field.

Model 24 Ditcher-Terracer

The Model 24 is a pull-type ditcher-terracer designed to make surface drainage ditches, to construct and clean waterways, and to build and maintain terraces using your own farm tractor.

Depth of cut: up to 10 inches in a single pass and up to 28 inches in multiple passes.

Options for the Model 24: terracing shield with extension; deflector shield.

3-PT 26 3-Point Ditcher

The model 3-PT 26 3-Point ditcher is designed to provide an economical way to make surface drainage ditches using your own farm tractor. Like all Hurricane 3-Point models, the 3-PT 26 is equipped with parking stands for easy hook-up and disconnection. It can be used with Cat II or III quick hitch by moving the bushings to the desired location.

Depth of cut: up to 10 inches in a single pass; up to 26 inches in multiple passes.

Options for the 3-PT 26: ripper tooth; deflector shield.
