Farmers helping farmers is what we do at Richland Micro Drainage.  We offer innovative drainage solutions and agricultural advice to our customers to assist them in soil health, proper drainage, and increased crop yields.  Below you’ll find an overview of how we can help you.

ASSESS YOUR LAND

To begin removing excess water from your land, we first need to produce a topographic map of your land, determine elevations, areas of depression, and water flow.  Next, we may need to progress with a slight reshaping of your land to fill the depression pockets and create a positive grade.  This data is then used to create a plan of solutions to meet your unique situation.

TWO DRAINAGE OPTIONS

If you are plagued with excess subsurface water, we use specialized equipment to lay 2” tile to optimize drainage and reduce clogging.  Our shallow drainage application provides less compaction of the soil, improved root development, reduced plant stress, and better organic matter.  If surface water is your challenge, we provide solutions that include slopes and narrow ditches that carry water away from your crops.

BLENDED CONCEPTS

In addition to our drainage concepts, we offer software and equipment that enables you to install your tile with minimal effort and time, greater accuracy with live depths, and slope readings.  Grade control tools, software for GPS related ditching, and design solutions are also a part of Richland Micro Drainage solutions.
